Bio
Amanda Moore is a self taught visual artist originally hailing from the Finger Lakes region of upstate New York. She currently calls the southern shores of Massachusetts home with her three daughter’s, husband, lot’s of critters she didn’t ask permission to bring home and far too many plants.
Amanda’s passion for understanding the natural world that surrounds us fuels her imagination and her imagery. She is best known for her hauntingly surreal visions which evoke a magical tenderness, uniting the beautiful relationships between nature and spirit.
“I Have always had a deep reverence for being immersed in the natural world around me. The need to learn it’s “languages” and experiment with various avenues of creative expression is how I translate my understanding of it all. It is my tether…
Just being a human that is alive and consuming would be a meaningless existence. However, to be a human that can witness deeply and create from those depths because they have no other choice, is a life worth being consumed by.
My hope is to inspire a primordial remembrance that stirs curiosity, to initiate a visual invitation that awakens a deeper understanding of more ethereal joining veils. “
